We don’t see too many of these anymore, so it was a real pleasure to welcome this beautiful HR Holden into the workshop. The owner brought it in due to overheating issues, especially a concern with warmer weather approaching.

After inspection, we found the cooling system needed attention. We carried out the following work:

• Fitted a new radiator
• Replaced the thermostat
• Installed new radiator hoses
• Performed a full cooling system flush

Once completed, the overheating issue was resolved and the cooling system was performing as it should. While the vehicle was with us, we also carried out a minor tune and some electrical repairs to ensure everything was running smoothly.

With these repairs completed, this classic HR Holden is now ready to be enjoyed again — even through the summer heat. It’s always great to help keep iconic Aussie cars on the road for their owners to enjoy.
